White House website turns Trump after swearing-in: 'America is Back'
The official website for the White House changed sometime during the inauguration.
The presidential White House webpage changed Monday within moments of Donald Trump becoming the country's 47th president – with the homepage reading "America Is Back."
Behind the homepage slogan is a picture of Trump wearing is signature uniform of a blue suit, white shirt and red tie.
"Every single day I will be fighting for you with every breath in my body," the text below the image reads. "I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe and prosperous America that our children deserve and that you deserve. This will truly be the golden age of America."
The website also features a page entitled "The Trump-Vance Administration Priorities," which outlines the Trump adminstration's positions on inflation, tax cuts, border security, foreign policy, energy, and law enforcement.
Links to pages posted by the Biden administration can no longer be accessed and come back as 404 errors. This comes at an inconvenient time for reporters looking for information on the pardons extended to members of the Biden family. Biden extended pardons to his siblings James, Valerie and Francis along with their spouses in his last moments as President on January 20 according to a report from The New York Post.
