Embattled New York GOP Rep. George Santos on Tuesday joined supporters of former President Donald Trump in front of a Manhattan courthouse before the former president's arraignment.

"Say what you want, I showed up what about you?" Santos tweeted after he appeared in front of the courthouse.

"I stood by Trump from the moment he came down the escalator, I voted for him in the primary and twice for president in the general elections. Today I showed up, because that’s what real supporters do, they show up for your best and your worse days," he later added.

Video on social media appeared to a body man for Santos keeping a swarm of news photographer, reporters and others away from the freshman congressman.

Santos, who faces multiple investigations about fabricating his resume for elected office, was not the only member of Congress to show up Tuesday in New York City to support Trump. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) joined pro-Trump protesters for about 10 minutes Tuesday morning before she was drowned out by counter-protesters.
