President Trump wants Georgia Gov. Kemp to resign
"He is an obstructionist who refuses to admit that we won Georgia, BIG! Also won the other Swing States," the president said in a tweet about the Republican state official.
President Trump on Wednesday said that Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp should step down from his post leading the Peach State.
"He is an obstructionist who refuses to admit that we won Georgia, BIG! Also won the other Swing States," the president said in a tweet about the Republican state official.
Later on Wednesday President Trump blasted the Georgia governor and two other state officials as "Fools!"
"@BrianKempGA, his puppet Lt. Governor @GeoffDuncanGA, and Secretary of State, are disasters for Georgia. Won’t let professionals get anywhere near Fulton County for signature verifications, or anything else. They are virtually controlled by @staceyabrams & the Democrats. Fools!"
Georgia election results indicate that Joe Biden narrowly won the state by about 12,000 votes, but President Trump contends that fraud tainted the election and that he actually won the Peach State.
"We now have far more votes than needed to flip Georgia in the Presidential race," the president also tweeted on Wednesday. "Massive VOTER FRAUD took place. Thank you to the Georgia Legislature for today’s revealing meeting!"
Gov. Kemp on Wednesday said he is focusing on issues including coronavirus vaccines, hospital bed availability and the upcoming Senate runoff elections in which he hopes that the Republicans will secure victories.
