Trump tweets that he's growing 'more and more angry at China' over COVID-19

There have been more than 2.6 million confirmed cases in the U.S. and more than 127,000 deaths.

President Trump on Tuesday evening tweeted that he is becoming increasingly "angry at China" due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"As I watch the Pandemic spread its ugly face all across the world, including the tremendous damage it has done to the USA, I become more and more angry at China. People can see it, and I can feel it!" the president tweeted.

The nation's economy has suffered significantly during the crisis, with many people losing their jobs.

Some areas of the U.S. have been experiencing a surge in coronavirus case numbers.

According to date from Johns Hopkins University, there have been more than 2.6 million confirmed cases in the U.S. and more than 127,000 deaths. Globally, the toll includes more than 10.4 million confirmed cases and more than 500,000 deaths.
