Trump says he will pardon a 'very, very important' person on Tuesday
The president did not reveal the person's identify but did say it will not be Edward Snowden or Michael Flynn
President Trump said Monday he will pardon someone prominent on Tuesday.
"Doing a pardon tomorrow on someone who is very, very important," the president told reporters aboard Air Force One, according to the pool report.
While he did not divulge the identity of the individual he will pardon, Trump said that it will not be Edward Snowden, the former National Security Agency contractor who leaked information that revealed surveillance done by the agency, nor the president's former national security adviser Michael Flynn.
Trump announced last week he's considering a pardon for Snowden though he has not decided. Flynn has not sought a pardon as his lawyers focus on getting his conviction overturned.
