GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump on Saturday received the endorsement of Arab and Muslim leaders in Novi, Michigan, during a rally.

"We're winning overwhelming support from the Muslim and Arab voters right here in Michigan," Trump said during the rally.

He later said that Arab and Muslim voters want peace in the Middle East, law and order and no transgender operations for minors.

"I'm thrilled to accept the endorsement," Trump said. "Nobody thought this was going to happen..because they're a great group of people but they were always Democrat."

He went on to invite leaders in the Arab and Muslim community on stage, including Hamtramck Mayor Amer Ghalib, who leads a majority Muslim city in Michigan.

Earlier this month, Trump received Ghalib's endorsement.

"We as Muslims stand with President Trump because he promises peace, not war," Muslim leader Imam Belal Alzuhairi said. "We are supporting Donald Trump because he promised to end war in the Middle East and Ukraine. The bloodshed has to stop all over the world. And I think this man can make it happen."
