A solid majority of Texans support President Donald Trump's efforts to deport foreign nationals in the U.S. illegally and bans on boys playing in girls' sports.

That's according to a Napolitan News Service's survey of 800 registered voters in Texas conducted by pollster Scott Rasmussen from Feb. 6-10.

The poll shows that 65% of voters support deporting illegal immigrants, with 39% saying they strongly support the effort; 32% oppose the deportation plan.

On school choice, 60% of Texas voters favor a proposal that would allow taxpayer money to follow a student to the school of his or her parents' choice, rather than automatically going to the local traditional public school.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott identified passing school choice as one of his legislative priorities, and both the state House and Senate included in their proposed budgets spending $1 billion on Education Savings Accounts.

More than three out of every four voters – 77% – favor banning biological males from competing in women's sports, and 55% say school administrators should be fired who defy President Donald Trump's order banning teaching children that they can choose their own gender.

The poll has a margin of error of +/- 3.5.
