Celebrity political endorsements had little impact on how most Americans voted: poll
According to the poll, 77% of voters said celebrity endorsements didn't make them more or less likely to vote for then-candidate Donald Trump and 75% said the same for Harris.
A recent poll conducted by the Napolitan News Service showed that celebrity endorsements had very little sway over voters when they were deciding on a candidate.

When asked, "Which celebrity endorsement had the biggest impact on whether you voted for Donald Trump?" 79% of voters said neither Elon Musk or Joe Rogan's endorsement of Trump impacted their vote. Only 4% said Musk had the biggest impact on their vote for Trump and 1% said Rogan.
Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris was endorsed by Oprah Winfrey, Beyonce and Cardi B as the campaign spent a lot of money on celebrity endorsements.
When asked, "Which celebrity endorsement had the biggest impact on whether you voted for Kamala Harris?," 75% said they were not asked and they had no impact on their decision. Of those who named a celebrity in answer to that question, 3% said Taylor Swift, 2% Beyonce, 2% the Obamas, 1% Oprah and 1% Cardi B.
The poll was taken between Nov. 7-8 with a sampling error of +/-3.1 percentage points.
