Attorney General Pam Bondi says the recent attacks on Tesla properties are "nothing short of domestic terrorism."

“The swarm of violent attacks on Tesla property is nothing short of domestic terrorism," Bondi said in a statement Tuesday.

She said that the DOJ has charged several perpetrators, "including in cases that involve charges with five-year mandatory minimum sentences."

Multiple Tesla cars, charging stations and dealerships have been vandalized since Elon Musk began leading the Trump administration DOGE.

Some examples include Tesla charging stations being set on fire in Boston and Tesla cyber-trucks being set on fire in Seattle. 

"We will continue investigations that impose severe consequences on those involved in these attacks, including those operating behind the scenes to coordinate and fund these crimes," Bondi also said.
