Musk hopes for free trade zone between U.S. and Europe

Trump has announced a baseline tariff of 10% on imports as well as increased tariffs on goods from certain countries like China.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk, the head of the Department of Government Efficiency said on Saturday that he hopes the United States and Europe eventually agree no having no tariffs on goods.

“I hope it is agreed that both Europe and The United States should move ideally in my view to a zero tariff situation, effectively creating a free trade zone between Europe and North America," Musk said, appearing remotely during an event in Italy.
