Trump lauds Supreme Court ruling on deportation flights as 'great day for Justice in America'
The Supreme Court sided with Trump in a 5-4 ruling that lifted a halt on deportation flights for illegal migrants who are suspected of being tied to violent gangs.
President Donald Trump on Monday night celebrated the Supreme Court's recent ruling on his deportation flights, lauding it as a "great day for justice in America."
The Supreme Court sided with Trump in a 5-4 ruling that lifted a halt on deportation flights for illegal migrants who are suspected of being tied to violent gangs.
"The Supreme Court has upheld the Rule of Law in our Nation by allowing a President, whoever that may be, to be able to secure our Borders, and protect our families and our Country, itself," he wrote on Truth Social. "A GREAT DAY FOR JUSTICE IN AMERICA!"
The ruling overturns U.S. Judge James Boasberg's March 15 order that temporarily blocked deportations under the 1798 Alien Enemies Act, by granting the Trump administration's request to vacate the judge's temporary restraining orders.
