Shooter at Naval Air Station in Texas 'neutralized' after morning attack
One security forces member was injured, but is now in 'good condition'
A shooter at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi in Texas was "neutralized" Thursday morning following an attack, the U.S. Navy said in a statement.
One member of the Naval Security Forces on the base was injured, but is reportedly now in good condition.
State and local law enforcements are on the scene and NCIS has been called to investigate. The FBI is also assisting with the investigation.
The base went into lockdown in the morning following the shooting, which took place at approximately 6:15 a.m.
