Suspect in custody after hijacking bus with driver held at gunpoint, passenger killed

A suspect is in custody after hijacking a bus in Los Angeles by holding a gun to the driver's head on Wednesday.
One passenger died during the incident, according to KTLA.
The local outlet reported that the man had multiple gunshot wounds, but further details were not immediately available. He died at a local hospital.
The suspect reportedly took 3 hostages, the bus driver and two passengers, on the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority bus.
Police pursued the bus after it was hijacked and speeding through the city.

Around 2am., the bus was stopped at 6th and Wholesale Street, about 8 miles northeast from the start of the incident, according to news reports. A SWAT team eventually cleared all paseangers off the bus and took the suspect into custody.
