Sen. Carper drops f-bombs during postal hearing after struggling with video feed
Carper's office explained the outburst as typical of "most Americans in 2020" trying to log into a virtual meeting
Democratic Sen. Tom Carper on Friday unleashed a string of expletives when trying to question Postmaster General Louis DeJoy via remote-video conferencing during a high-profile Senate hearing on concerns about mail delivery.
"F&*k. F&*ck. F&*k,” Carper could be seen and heard saying on an unmuted computer mic as he tried to get his video feed working.
An aide is then seen quickly coming to help the senator.
“Like most Americans in 2020, Senator Carper got frustrated with technical difficulties this morning, but that pales in comparison to his frustration with a Postmaster General who’s actively undermining the U.S. Postal Service during a national crisis," a Carper spokeswoman told Fox News.
