Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer slammed President Trump after learning he won a golf tournament on Saturday, following the stock market plunge on Friday.

“The President won his second round matchup of the Senior Club Championship today in Jupiter, FL, and advances to the Championship Round tomorrow,” the White House said in a statement provided to the press pool on Saturday.

Schumer responded to the statement on X.

"Honestly I had to check more than once that this was real," Schumer wrote. "He’s mocking you, and he just so obviously doesn’t care that he’s wrecking the economy and wrecking Americans’ retirement accounts."
