Progressive New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Friday stoked rumors of a looming 2028 presidential bid after her media team released a video online that appeared to be inspired by presidential campaigns.

The video, which showed the congresswoman speaking at a rally in Idaho, featured a montage of the Democrat shaking hands with voters at various events across the United States, and included a hopeful message.

Ocasio-Cortez recently went on a national tour with Independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, where the pair railed against the power and influence of so-called “oligarchs."

“Idaho, I am so touched being here. I’m a girl from the Bronx. To be welcomed here in this state, all of us together, seeing our common cause — this is what this country is all about,” Ocasio-Cortez said in the video. "Don't let them trick us into thinking we are enemies. Don't let them trick us into thinking we can be separated into rural and urban, black and white and Latino. We are one."

The pair chartered a luxury Bombardier Challenger private jet that costs up to $15,000 an hour for several of their West Coast stops on their "Fighting Oligarchy" tour, Fox News noted.

Ocasio-Cortez also reflected on her roots as a waitress in New York, stating that she was proof that "impossible is nothing."

The end of the video highlighted her bid for reelection in the House next year and did not mention any presidential ambitions. But the 35-year-old is now old enough to seek the Oval Office.

The message also comes as the future of the Democratic Party is uncertain after the 2024 elections saw President Donald Trump return to the White House, and Republicans flip control of the Senate. They also kept control of the House.
