Taxi hits pedestrians outside Macy’s in Manhattan on Christmas Day, injuring child and five others

The injuries are considered non-life threatening. Police are still investigating and believe it to be an accident.

A taxi, whose driver may have suffered a medical emergency, slammed into multiple pedestrians in Herald Square Wednesday afternoon, right outside of Macy’s on 34th Street and 6th Avenue. 

Six victims, including a 9-year-old boy, were injured in the accident, which took place shortly after 4 p.m. local time. Three of the victims were taken to nearby hospitals. The injuries are considered non-life threatening, according to the New York Post

Police are still investigating and believe it to be an accident.
