Billionaire entrepreneur Trump appointed Elon Musk got into a social media spat this past weekend with the Poland's foreign affairs minister in which he called the diplomat a "little man," during their disagreement over Musk's Starlinks communications system being used in Ukraine during its ongoing war with Russia.

The spat started Sunday when Musk responded to an X post that claimed he didn't call out Russia for being the aggressor in the war and only called out Ukraine.

"I literally challenged Putin to one on one physical combat over Ukraine, and my Starlink system is the backbone of the Ukrainian army," Musk said in response to a post on X. "Their entire front line would collapse if I turned it off. What I am sickened by is years of slaughter in a stalemate that Ukraine will inevitably lose. Anyone who really cares, really thinks and really understands wants the meat grinder to stop."

Poland Foreign Affairs Minister Radosław Sikorski in turn posted that the Polish Digitization Ministry pays for the Starlinks in Ukraine and it costs his country $50 million a year.

"The ethics of threatening the victim of aggression apart, if SpaceX proves to be an unreliable provider we will be forced to look for other suppliers," Sikorski wrote on X.

Musk then responded to Sikorski by calling him a "small man" who pays a tiny fraction of the cost.

This then led to Secretary of State Rubio jumping in to say Sikorski was "making things up."

"Just making things up," he posted. " No one has made any threats about cutting Ukraine off from Starlink And say thank you because without Starlink Ukraine would have lost this war long ago and Russians would be on the border with Poland right now."
