NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women, NY attorney general report finds

Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-N.Y.) sexually harassed multiple women, including current and former employees of his office, in violation of state and federal law, according to a report from the New York attorney general on Tuesday. 

The 165-page report also found that the Governor and his staff retaliated against a former employee who came forward with claims of harassment. Furthermore, the investigation found that the governor's office was riddled with fear and intimidation tactics executed by Cuomo's staff. 

"Gov. Cuomo sexually harassed several women," said AG Letitia James. The investigation was conducted by two outside attorneys hired by James. Prior to the investigation, the AG said she planned to "hire a law firm, deputize them as attorneys of our office and oversee a rigorous and independent investigation."

The longtime governor, who has consistently denied any wrongdoing, was accused by more than half-a-dozen women of allegations that range from unwanted kissing or touching to sexual harassment. 

Cuomo has said that he does not believe his actions should be considered sexual harassment, and has repeatedly said he will not resign.
