EU monitor reports says global warming limit exceed in past two years
The Copernicus Climate Change Service stated that 2024 was the hottest year recorded.
The European Union's climate monitor reported Friday that the global warming limit has been exceeded in the past two years.
The monitor described the situation, or conditon as "beyond what modern humans have ever experienced," according to Yahoo News.
The Copernicus Climate Change Service stated that 2024 was the hottest year recorded, passing 2023, for continents around the world.
Scientists predict that 2025 will be one of the top three hottest years ever recorded.
Great Britain's Energy Security Minister Ed Miliband said that this is very alarming.
"The climate crisis is here and now and getting worse. Sticking our head in the sand would be a betrayal of future generations," Miliband said in a statement.
