‘This was not a success’: Mark Morgan condemns Secret Service’s failure to protect Trump
Former Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Mark Morgan says stopping the second assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump should be attributed to luck, not the Secret Service. “How did this guy get there? There are reports that he was up there and lying in wait up to twelve hours. There was no parameter sweep. There was no law enforcement outside to surveil that area. This was not a success,” he says.
