US signs off on first round of Abrams tanks for Ukraine

The first batch of U.S. Abrams tanks has been officially greenlit for Ukraine, military officials reported Monday. Army Acquisition chief Doug Bush said the tanks will be shipped to Europe where the U.S. army will train Ukrainians to use them. Bush said the tanks will reach Ukrainian soil by early Fall along with additional military supplies such as ammunition and spare parts.
