Rep. Burlison: MSM didn’t cover ex-FBI informant in Biden probe until they could discredit him
Representative Eric Burlison (R-MO) weighs in on how allegations that ex-FBI informant Alexander Smirnov, who has been charged with lying about a bribery scheme involving the Biden family, is tied to Russian intelligence reflects on the impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden. “The truth is, the FBI did not think that this individual was an unreliable source. In fact, whenever we requested information about the 1023 document, initially [Director] Christopher Wray and the FBI refused to provide it to us because they were worried that it would compromise the informant,” says Rep. Burlison.
