New York prosecutor drops Trump golf course tax investigation

The Westchester County District Attorney’s office dropped the two-year criminal investigation into former President Donald Trump’s golf club in Westchester, New York Thursday. Westchester prosecutors had been looking into whether the Trump organization had misled the city about the property value of Trump National Golf Club Westchester for tax purposes. Trump posted to Truth Social on Friday in response to the case closing, “THIS WAS THE HONORABLE THING TO DO IN THAT I DID NOTHING WRONG, BUT WHERE AND WHEN DO I GET MY REPUTATION BACK?”
