At least 12 killed, 100 rescued in flooded Venezuela gold mine

At least 12 people were killed after a gold mine in El Callao, Venezuela, was flooded by rainwater on Wednesday, May 31, local media reported. The bodies of the deceased miners were recovered on Friday and Saturday, El Diario reported citing officials. According to El Diario, more than 100 miners were rescued.
