Juul seeks FDA authorization for new age-verification vape product
E-cigarette company Juul Labs submitted a new “next-generation vapor platform” to the Food and Drug Administration Sunday in an effort to rebrand itself and combat underage use. Juul’s proposed e-cigarette will connect to a mobile or web app that includes age verification, device locking, and tamper-proof pods to prevent the use of unauthorized substances.
