ESA celebrates 20th anniversary of the Mars Express orbiter

The European Space Agency (ESA) is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Mars Express orbiter with a historic live picture show, although the term "live" is relative as the still photos were taken every 48 to 58 seconds and transmitted back from the orbiter orbiting Mars. This event marks an important milestone in deepening our understanding of Mars and paving the way for future manned missions to the planet.
