E. Jean Carroll greeted by supporters outside court before cross-examination in Trump assault trial

Advice columnist E. Jean Carroll arrived at Manhattan Federal Court on Monday for another day of cross-examination in her civil lawsuit against former President Donald Trump. A handful of women outside the courthouse held signs and offered words of encouragement to Carroll as she headed inside. Carroll is seeking damages from Trump for alleged rape and defamation.
