Bola Ahmed Tinubu wins Nigerian presidential election after fiercely contested race

Nigeria's ruling party candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu was declared the winner of the presidential race by the country's electoral commission on Wednesday. Tinubu's opposition has since said his campaign will now launch a legal challenge to the election outcome, as hundreds of Nigerians, in some areas, told CNN reporters they were not able to vote on the day of their elections, waiting in lines for days on election officials who reportedly never showed up to the ballot booth.
