Biden administration to hold meeting on ransomware attacks on schools

On Monday, the White House announced that the Biden administration is set to meet with various superintendents and education technology experts to discuss increases in ransomware attacks on schools. According to the White House, at least eight states saw ransomware attacks against schools last year. In some cases sensitive information, such as medical or behavioral histories, were stolen and released online.
