Trump team to meet with Ukrainian officials in Saudi Arabia next week: Report
The meeting follows talks with Russian diplomats in the same city that led to public denouncements from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who later travelled to Washington to sign a minerals deal.
The Trump administration's top diplomats and national security figures will reportedly meet with a Ukrainian delegation in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, next week.
"[Secretary of State Marco] Rubio, [Special Envoy Steve] Witkoff, [national security advisor Mike] Waltz headed to Riyadh on Tuesday to meet with Ukrainians, including [Andriy] Yermak," posted Fox News White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich.
The meeting follows talks with Russian diplomats in the same city that led to public denouncements from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who later travelled to Washington to sign a minerals deal.
That meeting ended in disaster and Zelensky was removed from the White House without signing the deal.
Trump has since paused all military aid to Ukraine.
