Harris has called Trump to concede the election
Harris did not address her supporters on Election Night, though Trump declared victory.
Vice President Kamala Harris has called President-elect Donald Trump to concede the race for the White House.
“President Donald J. Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris spoke by phone earlier today where she congratulated him on his historic victory," Trump Campaign Communications Director Steven Cheung said in a statement. "President Trump acknowledged Vice President Harris on her strength, professionalism, and tenacity throughout the campaign, and both leaders agreed on the importance of unifying the country.”
Harris did not address her supporters on Election Night, though Trump declared victory. The Associated Press has projected Trump to win the White House with 292 electoral votes to Harris's 224.
Maine, Arizona, Nevada, and Alaska remain uncalled.
