Biden to announce tariffs on China goods

President Joe Biden is expected to maintain Trump-era tariffs and add new ones on Chinese goods, including electric vehicles, solar equipment, and semiconductors.

Citing unnamed sources, Reuters reported that new tariffs will impact semiconductors and solar equipment. Medical supplies will also face additional tariffs.

The Wall Street Journal reports that tariffs on EVs will increase four-fold under the plan.
