Vice President Kamala Harris' Fox News interview brings in 7 million viewers

The interview, which lasted less than half an hour, attracted at least 7.1 million viewers, including 882,000 viewers between in the 25-54 age demographic.

Vice President Kamala Harris' interview on Fox News Wednesday night garnered more than seven million viewers, according to early data from Nielsen Media Research on Thursday.

Harris was interviewed by Fox News host Bret Baier, and it aired during Baier's “Special Report." The interview, which was conducted in Pennsylvania, focused on top voter concerns heading into the general election in November, such as immigration and the economy.

The interview, which lasted less than half an hour, attracted at least 7.1 million viewers, including 882,000 viewers between in the 25-54 age demographic, per The Hill. Fox News is considered the most watched cable news channel.

The numbers make the interview the most-watched interview of the 2024 election season, Fox News reported. It aired on the same day that former President Donald Trump appeared on the network in a townhall hosted by Fox News host Harris Faulkner, which aired during her show at 11 a.m. That segment brought in nearly three million viewers.

The Fox News interview also beat out Harris' segment on CBS's "60 Minutes," which garnered 5.7 million viewers, and CNN's joint interview with Harris and her running-mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, which netted 6.3 million viewers.
