Former President Donald Trump said in Tempe, Arizona on Thursday that the U.S. is “like a garbage can for the world" under the Biden-Harris administration's border policies.

“They unleashed an army of migrant gangs waging a campaign of violence,” Trump said. “We're a dumping ground. We're like a garbage can for the world.”

Vice President Kamala Harris, the 2024 Democratic nominee, was pressed during a CNN town hall on Wednesday night about the record number of illegal immigrant border encounters that have occurred under the Biden administration.
