Trump, Harris tie in tiny New Hampshire town that votes at midnight and picked Biden last time
President Biden unanimously won Dixville Notch four years ago, in first ominous sign for Democrats.
Democrats faced their first bad news on election day Tuesday in a tiny New Hampshire town that split its vote between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris, which President Biden won unanimously four years ago.
Dixville Notch, whose voting-at-midnight tradition dates to 1960s, announced results at 12:10 a.m., with three votes each for Trump and Harris, Fox News reported. Biden won five votes in 2020.
Three-time accordion champion Cory Pesaturo opened the polls at the town near the Canadian border with the national anthem. All eligible voters showed up, Fox News reported.
