Rep. Andy Biggs predicts Republicans will win presidency, Senate and House, praises AZ early voting
Congressman Biggs said that early voting might help Republicans pick up a seat in a district in Arizona that is currently held by Democrats.
Congressman Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., on Friday predicted that Republicans would win the presidency, House and Senate in the upcoming election and praised the early voting going on in the Grand Canyon State.
"I believe Republicans are going to take the House, the Senate, and Trump's going to win," Biggs said on the "Furthermore with Amanda Head" podcast. "That's my prediction."
Biggs said that this upcoming election is all about election turnout. According to NBC News, almost 60 million people have already voted early.
While Republicans were slower to get on board with early voting, many voters who identify with the GOP have already cast their ballots.
Local media reports that 1.4 million people have already voted in Arizona, and Republicans have turned out in higher numbers than Democrats.
"What happened to us last time if you remember, is we had a real push not to do early balloting," Biggs said. "So everybody went the day of and this time we said, 'No. Get back out and do early balloting.'"
He said that early voting may be helping Republicans pick up a seat in a district in Arizona that is currently held by Democrats.
