Wife of Biden National Security Advisor Sullivan running as Democrat for New Hampshire House seat
Goodlander served as a deputy assistant attorney general at the U.S. Justice Department.
The wife of President Biden's national security adviser, Jake Sullivan, is running for Congress in New Hampshire.
Maggie Goodlander, a former Biden Administration senior official, was born in the state and is seeking at seat in its Second Congressional District, according to an announcement on Thursday.
Goodlander served as a deputy assistant attorney general at the Justice Department.
"I’ve served in all three branches of government and I know how to deliver for New Hampshire," she said in the announcement. "I'll be a workhorse for the people of the Second District and will never stop fighting for a freer and more just Granite State."
