Don Jr. says he will go to 'great lengths' to make sure Nikki Haley won't be Trump's VP
“Nikki Haley wants never-ending wars," Don Jr. said during a Newsmax interview.
Former first son Donald Trump Jr. said that he would go to "great lengths" to make sure that former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley won't be his father's vice president if he gets the nomination.
“I wouldn’t have her and I would go to great lengths to make sure that that doesn’t happen,” Don Jr. said in a recent interview with Nexsmax host Eric Bolling.
According to some news reports, former President Donald Trump is reportedly considering making Haley his vice president if he gets the GOP presidential nomination in 2024.
“Nikki Haley wants never-ending wars," Don Jr. said in the interview. "She’s a puppet of the establishment in Washington, DC. She’s the new favorite candidate of the billionaire class because they want control— no different than academia and Harvard and using their billions to exercise influence.”
Other Trump allies such as Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene have spoken out against this idea.
"MAGA would revolt if Nikki Haley were to even be given an internship in Trump’s next administration," Greene wrote on social media earlier this month.
"She represents the neocon establishment America last wing of the Republican Party that we are absolutely done with," she added. "Also, she lied and said she would not run against Trump."
