Trump campaign to host a 'Black Men’s Barbershop Talk Roundtable' event in Philadelphia

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump's campaign announced Saturday that it would be hosting a roundtable event for black men in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

"Attendees will discuss how Trump’s policies delivered real results for Black Americans, and how he plans to continue building on that success when he returns to office," the campaign said in an emailed announcement. 

The event will have black community leaders and Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., in attendance. 

The roundtable will happen on Oct. 20 in Philadelphia at 4 p.m. EST. 

"This event offers an opportunity for Black men to share their experiences and hear directly from leaders committed to creating positive change," the campaign announcement said. 

Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris has also been attempting to get black voters to vote for her, saying she would give forgivable loans to black entrepreneurs so they could start businesses.
