President Trump's physician, Dr. Sean Conley, on Thursday issued a memorandum saying he expects Trump to resume participating in "public engagements" this weekend, following the president's positive COVID-19 test last week.

"Saturday will be day 10 since Thursday's diagnosis, and based on the trajectory of advanced diagnostics the team has been conducting, I fully anticipate the President's safe return to public engagements at that time," Conley wrote.

The doctor also said that the president on Thursday finished "his course of therapy for COVID-19 as prescribed by his team of physicians."
