Lila Rose says government has spent millions buying, 'butchering' aborted fetuses for experiments
Rose said that "the more we report on it, the more we can change public opinion and hold Fauci and the National Institutes for Health, the federal government, accountable for these crimes against children."
Lila Rose, the president and founder of the pro-life organization Live Action and author of the new book, "Fighting for Life: Becoming a Force for Change in a Wounded World," said during an interview on The Water Cooler that the National Institutes of Health is "responsible for spending tens of millions of dollars of taxpayer money to buy the aborted body parts and bodies of fetuses, human children ... and butchering their bodies to use their organs for medical experiments."
Her comment came after Water Cooler host David Brody brought up a Just the News article reporting that the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, which Dr. Anthony Fauci leads, spent more than $400,000 funding experiments that grafted the scalps of aborted fetuses onto mice and rats.
"The research, published last fall in the journal Nature, was performed by a dozen scientists out of the University of Pittsburgh," Just the News noted in the report. "The experiments involved developing rat and mouse 'models' using, in part, 'full-thickness fetal skin' in order to 'provide a platform for studying human skin infections.'"
Rose described this as "so horrific."
"This is modern day America, but the more people find out about it, they are angry and disturbed. So thank you for reporting on it David. And the more we report on it, the more we can change public opinion and hold Fauci and the National Institutes for Health, the federal government, accountable for these crimes against children," Rose said.
