Americans pay more for garbage collection under Biden-Harris admin: report
Data from the U.S. Department of Labor shows that Americans pay 4.75% more for trash collection than last year
The consumer price index for garbage collection and sewage has increased under the Biden-Harris administration, according to recent data.
Data from the U.S. Department of Labor shows that Americans pay 4.75% more for trash collection than last year. Price hikes peaked at a year-over-year rate of 5.8% in June last year, Breitbart reported.
President Joe Biden addressed comments that a warm-up comic made at former President Donald Trump's Madison Square Garden rally about Puerto Rico during a virtual call. This was the same day Vice President Kamala Harris gave a major campaign speech outside of the White House in Washington, D.C.
"Just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a floating island of garbage," Biden said. "The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters. His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable and it is un-American."
Harris said she doesn't support criticizing people based on who they vote for. The White House has said that Biden said "supporter's" to reference the comedian's remarks.
Trump responded to Biden's remarks, calling them "terrible."
“So, you have to remember Hillary [Clinton] — she said ‘deplorable’ and then she said ‘irredeemable’ … ‘garbage’ I think is worse,” Trump said, according to The New York Post.
