New Dodgers player Shohei Ohtani gives teammate's wife a Porsche

New Los Angeles Dodgers player Shohei Ohtani gave a brand-new Porsche to Ashley Kelly, the wife of teammate Joe Kelly, after she started a campaign to convince Ohtani to join the Dodgers.  

Ashley Kelly posted a video Saturday on Instagram of her opening the front door with a shocked face as an off-camera voice says, "That's yours. From Shohei. He wanted to gift you a Porsche."

She had led the campaign called #Ohtake17 to persuade Ohtani to join the Dodgers. During the campaign, she even offered to give him all of her home's Dodgers No. 17 gear and change her child's name from Kai to ShoKai if Ohtani agreed to join, according to USA Today.

Ohtani earlier this month signed a $700 million contract over 10 years with the Dodgers in what is the largest free-agent deal in Major League Baseball history.
