Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani plans to surrender Wednesday to the authorities at Georgia's Fulton County jail in connection with criminal charges against him in an alleged plot to overturn the state's 2020 presidential election results.

"I'm going to Georgia. I feel very, very good about it because I'm defending the rights of Americans," the attorney and former New York City mayor said outside of his Manhattan apartment.

Giuliani wants to turn himself in before former President Trump, among the 19 indicted earlier this month in connection with the alleged plot, comes to Georgia for his arrangement Thursday and posts a $200,000 bond, according to CNN.

At least three defendants – Ray Smith, Cathleen Latham and David Shafer – surrendered Wednesday morning, per jail records.

Smith surrendered on 12 charges and his bond was set at $50,000, jail records show, while Latham surrendered on 11 charges with a $75,000 bond. Shafer faces eight charges and posted $75,000 in bond.

All three were released Wednesday.

Attorney John Eastman and Atlanta bail bondsman Scott Hall surrendered Tuesday morning.

Of the 18 co-defendants alongside Trump, just five have turned themselves over to officials.

Giuliani, one of the most high-profile people implicated in the case other than Trump, is expected to travel to Georgia with former New York police commissioner Bernie Kerik, who has reportedly been trying to help the former New York City mayor find a Georgia attorney for the case.

The Georgia case, which follows a multi-year investigation led by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, is separate from special counsel Jack Smith's federal case into the 2020 election. Giuliani has not been charged in Smith's federal probe, but he is reportedly "Co-conspirator 1" in the federal indictment of Trump.

Authorities have since release Giuliani's mugshot:
