Trump establishes new Religious Liberty Commission led by Texas' Dan Patrick and Ben Carson
Patrick will serve as the chairman and Carson is expected to serve as vice chair.
President Donald Trump on Thursday signed an executive order that establishes a new commission on religious liberties, which will be led by Texas' GOP Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson.
The order was signed during a National Day of Prayer event in the Rose Garden of the White House. Patrick will serve as the chairman and Carson is expected to serve as vice chair.
