DOJ investigators have asked questions about Giuliani's work related to Romania: report

Federal investigators have asked questions about Rudy Giuliani's work related to Romania, according to a report that cited two unnamed individuals familiar with the investigation into Giuliani. 

FBI agents raided Giuliani’s apartment and office in New York City last month to seize his phones and computers, while investigating if he had violated the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

Politico reported that in 2018 Giuliani wrote a letter to Romanian President Klaus Iohannis and that letter constitutes the only Romania-related work Giuliani has performed that is publicly known.

"I've had contracts in countries like Ukraine. In the contract is a clause that says I will not engage in lobbying or foreign representation. I don't do it because I felt it would be too compromising," Giuliani said during an interview last month. He noted that he has "never, ever represented a foreign national."
