Over 100,000 Russia soldiers killed, wounded since start of Russian invasion of Ukraine, Pentagon

Roughly 40,000 Ukrainian civilians have also died since the invasion began in February.

As many as 100,000 Russian soldiers have been killed or wounded since Russia began its invasion of Ukraine in February, said Army Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Milley also said that as many as 40,000 Ukrainian civilians have also died since the start of the invasion.

"There has been a tremendous amount of suffering, human suffering," he said making his death toll estimates Wednesday at the Economic Club in New York City, according to the news outlet adnamerica.com.
