Rudy Giuliani must give up luxury items and Manhattan apartment to Georgia election workers: Judge

Former Trump attorney and New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani must give up luxury items and his Manhattan apartment to Georgia election workers, a federal judge ruled Tuesday.

Giulian owes the election workers – Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss – about $150 million.

Judge Lewis Liman of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York ruled that Giuliani has to surrender his interest in the home to the workers within seven days in the form of a receivership under their control so they can sell it.

Giuliani has said the Trump campaign owes him $2 million in legal fees, which the judge said would also go to Freeman and Moss.

“In the absence of a turnover order to a receiver, Plaintiffs would bear the unacceptable risk of delay and Defendant’s insolvency,” Liman wrote in his ruling. “The Court finds no good cause to impose additional limits on the time or manner of the liquidation or prosecution of any other item or interest on the list.” 

Last year, a jury ordered Giuliani to pay about $150 million in damages for defaming Freeman and Moss during the 2020 election.
