Scott Rasmussen predicts Republicans will take back the Senate next month
Rasmussen, who created "Rasmussen Reports," predicted that Republicans will win the chamber 52-48.
Pollster Scott Rasmussen on Monday predicted that Republicans will flip the Senate next month, as polls narrow in multiple key races.
Republicans need to flip just two seats in November in order to gain control of the upper chamber, and are currently leading in West Virginia and Montana. They are also hoping to flip Arizona, Maryland, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
Rasmussen, who created "Rasmussen Reports," predicted that Republicans will win the chamber 52-48.
"At the moment, most likely Senate outcome is 52 R 48 D," Rasmussen posted to X. "Rs pick up WV, MT, and (maybe) OH. Don't lose any incumbents..."
The numbers come the same day the nonpartisan Cook Political Report shifted Pennsylvania's race between incumbent Democratic Sen. Bob Casey and challenger Dave McCormick from "lean Democrat" to "toss-up."
